Broken Pottery Shipping and Return Policy

When you purchase pottery from Ugly Mug Pottery, the goods will be delivered through trackable shipment USPS. Ugly Mug Pottery does not ship internationally and only in the USA.

Delivery of your order will take place as soon as reasonably possible, depending on the delivery method selected. Delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances or acts of God. Please note that delivery times do not include weekends and national holidays and can take up to 14 business days to complete, if not longer due to uncontrollable circumstances. On most orders, you will be required to pay shipping charges in addition to the price of the goods you purchased.

You are required to provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name of the recipient. Ugly Mug Pottery is not liable for the shipment of your purchase(s) to the incorrect or wrong address as a result of inaccurate or incomplete information. If the incorrect shipping address is placed upon order, it is recommended you contact Ugly Mug Pottery immediately.

If you, unfortunately, receive a broken piece of pottery as a result of shipment, DO NOT USE OR HANDLE THE BROKEN POTTERY. Broken pottery is very sharp like glass and injury, bodily harm, infection or death can result from the handling of broken pottery. Refund requests must be made within 7 days of receipt of shipment.

Ugly Mug Pottery wants you to enjoy and have the piece you enthusiastically looked forward too and pledges to do as much as possible to ensure a smooth and satisfying result from a bad situation.

Refunds of credit do not apply to the following goods: Pottery lessons, subscriptions, or 1-on-1 teaching.

To request a credit under our broken pottery return policy, photograph the broken piece of pottery as it sits inside the package without handling it and email to: RonnieK@UglyMugPottery.Com with the subject line “Credit Request: Broken Pottery in Shipment”

Once your return request photograph is received and viewed, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your inquiry. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your request. 

Ugly Mug Pottery only replace items if they are defective or damaged within 7-days of purchase. Exchange requests on gifts may be sent to RonnieK@UglyMugPottery.Com but are not guaranteed to be fulfilled.

Any pieces purchased at third-party locations and not www.UglyMugPottery.Com are not eligible. You must contact the third-party location in which the piece was bought for their return policy.

In the event of a monetary refund, shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
